O2O Sourcing aims to correct material errors clearly and without silently changing the meaning of an article.
What qualifies for correction
Corrections may cover inaccurate facts, dates, names, links, calculations, quotations, image credits or descriptions of a source. A difference of opinion does not by itself establish a factual error, but evidence that changes the reliability of a conclusion should be reviewed.
What to provide
Include the article URL, the exact passage, a description of the issue and a verifiable supporting source. Primary sources are especially important for regulations, standards, event schedules, prices, addresses, certifications and supplier capabilities.
Send corrections to [email protected]. Please do not include confidential files, payment information or personal identity documents in an initial report.
How changes should be disclosed
Minor spelling and formatting fixes may be made without a note. A correction that changes a factual claim, risk assessment or recommendation should add a dated note explaining the substance of the change. The lastmod date should change only when the article has been materially reviewed or updated.
