O2O Sourcing publishes practical material for buyers working with China-based supply chains. This policy defines the evidence and accountability expected of new and materially updated articles.
Reader purpose comes before publishing frequency
Every article should answer a distinct buyer question at a defined decision stage. A new title, wording change or random URL suffix does not create a new topic. If an existing article already serves the same reader task with the same evidence and practical outcome, the correct action is to update or consolidate the existing article.
No publication schedule requires the desk to publish when there is no genuinely new and useful angle.
Source standards
Claims about regulations, standards, event dates, addresses, prices, certifications, product safety, customs, transport restrictions and supplier capabilities should be checked against suitable current sources. Primary sources are preferred, including government agencies, standards bodies, event organizers, certification databases and original commercial documents.
Sources should be linked near the relevant claim or listed in a source section that makes the connection clear. A stock photograph, search snippet or another article repeating the same statement is not sufficient verification.
Experience and field reporting
An article may claim first-hand experience only when the publication can identify the underlying visit, interview, test, transaction record or direct observation. Relevant dates, locations, methods and limitations should be disclosed when doing so is safe and appropriate.
Licensed or stock imagery is illustrative. It must not be presented as evidence that the editorial team visited a location, tested a product or inspected a facility.
Authors, reviewers and responsibility
Every article must identify an accountable author or editorial desk. Specialist review should be disclosed when a claim depends on legal, customs, engineering, product-safety or other expertise beyond the author’s demonstrated scope.
Collective bylines identify responsibility but do not replace a description of the team’s qualifications, reporting method or sources.
Commercial relationships
Payment, sponsorship, affiliate links, supplied products, travel support and other material relationships must be disclosed on the affected page. Commercial participation must not guarantee favorable coverage or prevent publication of relevant limitations.
Updates and corrections
The publication date records initial publication. The updated date should change only after a material review. Corrections that alter a factual claim, risk assessment or recommendation should be explained in a dated note. See the corrections policy for details.
Content that should not be published
O2O Sourcing should reject content that invents experience, citations, quotations or credentials; reproduces another source without meaningful added value; makes unsupported rankings; hides commercial relationships; or repeats existing content primarily to maintain publishing volume.
